Award Recipient - Pfizer
Pfizer makes the best selling drug of all time, Lipitor. The cholesterol-lowering drug has never been proven to increase life span! It has however been proven to increase the rates of heart failure, dementia and even cancer among users. With callous disregard for science and health, Pfizer spends more money promoting Lipitor than they do researching it. But that's not why they are receiving the stinky Sulfur Award.
Pfizer knowingly distributed ineffective and impure drugs to 45,000 ill patients in Africa via Doctors without Borders. The impurity, ethyl mesylate, causes cancer and genetic mutations, which means children's children are damaged. But that's not why they are receiving the Stinky Sulfur Award.
Pfizer is receiving the Stinky Sulfur Award for...
Oh wait, it slipped my mind. So many injustices have been committed by the wealthy drug maker that I seem to have forgotten my initial motivation for granting them with my brazen award. Heck, this award by itself guarantees that I will never work as a chemist for the drug industry again. I will forever be denied the "limo treatment" that has suckered so many chemists into corporate slavery. I'm sure to lose some sleep over that...Oh wait, here it is! Just in time to be labeled with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).
Pfizer tested drugs on innocent children in Africa! Are share holders listening?
The New York Times writes that the Nigerian government is seeking $7.4 million in damages from Pfizer over tests conducted on children. The government alleges that the drug maker acted unethically when it tested the antibiotic Trovan and ceftriaxone on children in the state of Kano. Among the two hundred tested, 11 died while others suffered varying degrees of injuries including deafness, muteness, paralysis, brain damage, loss of sight and slurred speech.
Pfizer denies any wrong doing. They assert that they conducted the study in ethical ways that were consistent with patient safety.
The lesson here: You are a lab rat to the drug industry.
OK, so you don't live in Africa. You couldn't possibly be a lab rat, right? Wrong. The U.S. consumes more than 50% of all the drugs that are consumed worldwide! That makes the U.S. the biggest study population in the history of mankind. Along with the thousands of "FDA approved drugs," the U.S. is also being poisoned with hundreds of "unapproved drugs" being sold on grocery store shelves! So, just like poor African children, you and your Grandmother are victims of a very large study. And when you or she dies (along with others) prematurely as a result, a new one will be waiting for the next victim. A prescription drug kills an unsuspecting victim every five minutes. This trend has been going on for about 35 years, according to The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).
"In reflecting on the concept of drug safety, it is important to remember that no drug is absolutely safe and to recognize that sometimes information about the safety of a drug emerge after the drug is on the market."
- Andrew C. von Eschenbach, MD, FDA Commissioner
The cycle will continue until you, your Grandmother and "drug-buying governments" learn how Western medicine undermines your health by undergoing my Peoples Chemist Foundational Health Education.
People are not test subjects. Drugs are not vitamins.
Selling Lipitor is bad. Selling impure drugs is incorrigible. But using children, along with the rest of the world, as test subjects is something I wish I could forget. Nothing demonstrates Big Pharma's disregard for human life better.
